A little blessing.

First off I want to say thank you to all of my wonderful clients I've had so far. It has been such a blessing for me to have you all in my life. I have become friends with some, And they have all impacted my life in some way. I would like to give back to them. I know I do contests and such but not everyone is able to be on facebook so this time I want people to nominate families in need for a shoot but can't afford one themselves. I hope to choose wisely and I plan on giving a little blessing every so often. A little thank you to all of you who have helped me. This has been such a great new journey for me and I will keep you all involved in it. Once I choose a family I will share their story and the pictures. Please if you are able too pass little blessings on to those less fortunate. It's such a short life to live and you can't take everything with you when you go. What a great beginning.

Hi Everyone:)

I'd like to welcome you to my photography blog by giving you a huge Thank You. I titled this post what a great beginning for a reason, I have just started back at the end of December pursuing my passion a little further and so far It's gone great. I've met the most amazing people and got to do what I love to do while still being a SAHM. I realized just how much I loved to take pictures when my son Shane was born. Then when we went to upgrade our camera my husband decided to give me a little push and since we had some money saved up he said go for it. That's what I did, we started getting piece by piece and now I have a great base of props and equipment. How I started was by taking free photos for family and friends and I would edit and give them their discs. Well as I would edit I'd realize little things here and there that I needed to change and wasn't exactly sure how, so I took some classes. Those classes helped me out so much, youtube helped a lot also (shh...) :) There is still a lot to learn for me and I hope you'll give me that chance by taking you're family photos. If you are ever unsatisfied with my product please let me know a.s.a.p. Don't feel bad or guilty I would never want to give someone something they weren't satisfied with.

My background story

 My son is my world and I would do anything to give him the life he deserves. My husband and I had Shane young. I was 19 and Josh (my husband) was still 18. But that hasn't stopped us from doing anything. And I know some people don't agree with getting married and having kids that young but I 100% believe no matter what age it's the level of maturity you have that will decide how good of a parent/spouse you will be. Josh right now is going to hopefully be starting pharmacy school in the fall. Which is four more long years and a lot of money, but I believe schooling is worth it and it will also be great for us in the future. I hated that Josh was always working or at school full time and that I was at home not making any money. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade any minute with my son for the world, there is just a feeling I got not being able to contribute to our savings or our bills. So that's why photography has worked out so wonderful for me, everyone I met so far has been more than fine with Shane being with me while I photographed. Shane is almost two now and time is going by so quick, so for all of you parents out there I know how important it is to be able to capture all the different stages of life. I also know as a parent that pictures can get quite expensive. And that's why we haven't had our sons done again besides in the hospital the day he was born. Luckily now I can take my son's and I can also offer you affordable pictures and I always give you all the pictures on a disc so you can print them if you decide to or you can just upload them on your facebook for all of your friends and family to see. The benefit of the disc I give you is it's quite inexpensive and you get all the pictures from our session. You don't have to choose which two favorites you have or you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for a disc of the pictures. I hope to one day work with you all.
